About
Hi! I'm Jenny, the founder of SHADOW K9 TRAINING. My journey to get here has been a long one! I have been animal crazy since I was born and have had a range of animals over the years, but the one constant in my life has been dogs.
I grew up with Chow Chows and Pyrenean Mountain dogs and as a young child I helped train my neighbours Doberman, Rottweiler and German Shepard. My parents had an aggressive at everything Shih Tzu, I helped his reactivity and loved the challenge a reactive dog brings and watching them develop. During my 20’s I helped a charity take dogs from mistreated homes and transported them to their foster home, before they found their forever home.
These days my parents have a Lhasa Apso and my husband and I have a “Son” (as I prefer fur babies to human babies), a Doberman who’s 3 and has only made my love of training dogs increase. His nickname is the inspiration of the business name. My house, however is always full of all kinds of breeds as some of my friends are also in the dog industry.
I have been in ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery for over 20 years, but I have eventually followed my passion and love for dogs. I qualified as a certified Trainer with the "Dog Training College" (DTC) and have mentored with people I respect in the industry to continue to grow and put my dream into action!

I’ve been to Jenny now 3 times! Before I met Jenny I had an out of control spaniel that wouldn’t listen and pull on the lead and want to do his own thing! I found Jenny on Instagram and made contact. We spoke about my issue and she got to work, she showed and helped me understand how to get my dog to work with me so we could start to enjoy walks and have some fun together! And explained how to get results in such lovely and easy way, she’s filled me with loads of confidence and made it so fun in taking my dog out! I couldn’t recommend Jenny enough so if you struggling make contact!!
